How It Works
Having a QuickBooks custom hosting environment allows access to
QuickBooks files similar to your existing system. QuickBooks is
launched, bookkeeping and write up is done, and files get stored. The
difference is you can log in to access QB via any web browser, and you
don’t rely on your local PC for these processes. Client and accountant
are connected to a sophisticated series of secure, high-speed commercial
servers located in a data center.
Consequently, there is no need to regularly upgrade your computers. You
can use old computers and leverage existing assets. In addition, your
QuickBooks files are protected against virus attacks and backed up daily
to ensure they're always safe and available.
Hosted versions of QuickBooks are superior to "QuickBooks for the Web",
because they allow full functionality of QB and the ability to extract
data to use anywhere--features that QB for the Web doesn't deliver.
